Activision ID Bot

Profile Menu Actions

Using Your Installed App

Install Activision ID Bot to your Discord account, then open another user's profile or user context menu and choose an action under Apps. Lookup IDs shows private results in the current conversation. Register ID opens a private panel here, while Request Registration sends a DM invitation. Register ID and Share ID are also available in a message's Apps menu.

For DM actions, Discord must allow the bot to DM the relevant person. DM settings, blocks, or lack of shared-server access can prevent delivery. The bot reports failures privately. No privileged message or member intent is needed.

Register ID

The registration panel also offers Upload screenshot for a JPEG or PNG up to 10 MB and 16 megapixels. Include the ACTIVISION ID label and full ID. OCR suggests text only: choose Verify / edit ID, check every character, and submit the registration form to save. Blurry images may need manual entry.

For the owner and authorized moderators. The bot shows a private panel in the current conversation asking for the selected person's Activision ID. From a message's Apps menu, this registers the message's author. Submit only the ID; everything else stays at its default: Semi-private, automatic account title, no description, and the person's existing timezone unchanged.

No registration DM is sent. The form and confirmation are visible only to you. The selected person is not notified. The registration is still logged for administrators. Pending IDs created this way are soft-hidden on schedule but do not send pending reminder DMs.

The owner and verified home-server moderators have global access. Other moderators must have Manage Messages or Kick Members in a server currently containing the selected person. This is verified again when you save, including when you opened the profile from a DM. The bot must have access to verify the relevant server; unclear access is denied.

An existing exact ID is not overwritten. Use the normal registration command to request a transfer when ownership needs review.

Share ID

Open a message's Apps menu and choose Share ID. The shared result references that message, not the temporary account selector. Share ID is also available from a user's name menu; that version posts in the current conversation without targeting a particular message.

A private selector appears in the current conversation. Choose one of your accounts to post its ID and description for everyone in that conversation, along with a short invitation to register. No separate DM is sent to the selected person. ALL is the first option and shares a compact list without descriptions. Nothing is preselected. Previous and Next buttons handle more than 24 accounts; ALL includes accounts from every page.

The bot need not be installed in that server, but Discord must allow public external-app responses. Server permissions can restrict replies to only you. Those restricted responses still count as shared for repeat warnings.

When sharing one ID from a message, the bot warns you if you previously shared that account with the message author. You can share it anyway or cancel. Accounts titled Main are not tracked, and sharing ALL does not trigger a repeat warning.

Active, pending, and soft-hidden IDs can be shared regardless of privacy. Removed or transferred-away accounts cannot be shared. The selector expires after three minutes; run the action again if it expires.

Lookup IDs

Look up the selected person's Discord ID and receive the results in a private response in the current conversation, including descriptions and optional local time. The selected person is not notified.

This follows user-lookup privacy rules, not the exact Activision-ID exception. In a server, ordinary Semi-private results require verified membership in that server. In a DM there is no server search context, so normal results include public accounts and your own eligible accounts. Verified administrative access can reveal additional records with status labels.

All visible accounts are combined into one numbered list, with additional private messages only when needed for message-length limits. Very long lists have a More results button. Descriptions stay beneath each account. Analytics count only IDs whose result messages were actually sent, not results blocked by Discord.

Request Registration

Invite the selected person to make their accounts easy for friends to find and share. They receive a short introduction and a Register ID button. Nothing is registered until they choose to complete the form.

The form asks for their Activision ID, optional account title, privacy, optional multiline description, and optional timezone. The invitation also offers Upload screenshot and the same editable verification step as moderator registration. Privacy defaults to Semi-private. The first account defaults to Main; a previously saved timezone is prefilled. Blank timezone leaves the previous value unchanged; clear removes it. Use a specific timezone such as America/New_York if a city name is ambiguous.

Anyone can send invitations. Non-moderators may initiate up to five in a rolling hour across all recipients and servers. Failed DM attempts count too. The owner and verified moderators are exempt; unverified permissions do not bypass the limit.

Registration buttons remain usable across bot restarts for 24 hours. Only the intended person can use the form, and a successful save consumes that invitation. The recipient can simply ignore the invitation.
